Wonder Girl, real name Cassandra “Cassie” Sandsmark is fellow crime fighter and sidekick of DC’s Wonder Woman. She was introduced into the DC Universe in the comic Wonder Woman, volume 2, comic number 105 published in January 1996.
With all of the popularity of comic adapted movies, fans have been waiting patiently for Wonder Woman, and hopefully Wonder Girl, to have a turn. With her presence in the popular TV show, Teen Titans, this character will only continue to grow in media attention and inspire cosplay adaptations. Proving that any member of the Amazons does not need a man to complete her, or fight her battles, she has stood as a formidable foe for generations.
