Wiccan is a young hero and best known for being part of Marvel’s Young Avengers. Born William “Billy” Kaplan he is a mutant in the Marvel universe whose powers are similar to those of Scarlet Witch. As far as his costume, inspiration was said to have been drawn from Thor and Scarlet Witch. As his origins are explored he finds that he is the son of Scarlet Witch and the Vision. As a character he premiered in Young Avengers Issue 1 created by Allan Heinberg and drawn by Jim Cheung. Wiccan brings further diversity to the Marvel universe with his open relationship with fellow male hero Hulking. After meeting as part of the group Young Avengers, the two began dating and announced their engagement to their fellow heroes. After being bullied during his adolescence because of his homosexuality he meets fellow mutant Scarlet Witch who tells him to stand up for himself. When doing so his powers first manifest themselves and lead to his returning to The Avengers now as a powerful ally. While the full extent of his powers are unknown his main attacks consist of flight and lightning generation.
Creating your own Wiccan costume will be relatively easy. Primary costume items include a black bodysuit (patent or flat black options), a silver headband, and red tattered cape. Secondary costume items include black fingerless gloves, silver bracers and three silver medallions forming a belt line around the hip region of the bodysuit.
