Luke Skywalker is the main character of the Star Wars original trilogy. When these movies were created the Star Wars fandom was born, little did everyone know into a series that would last over 30 years. With the creation of The Force by George Lucas, the good force wielders the Jedi and the evil force wielders, the Sith were created to maintain balance throughout the galaxy. During the first movie (which would become Episode III after the prequel trilogy was made) Luke is introduced on his home planet of Tatooine, under the care of his Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru. He intercepts a message from his then unknown twin sister, Princess Leia for one of the last Jedi alive, Obi Wan Kenobi. This starts the adventure that will lead him to meet Han Solo, another main character of the prequel franchise, and to take down the Sith Lord Sidious and confront his own father (again unknown to him) Darth Vader. Cosplaying as Luke Skywalker will gain instant recognition from fans and friends alike.
