General Grievous is a partially organic, partially cyborg, all warrior Separatist general. Brutal and without mercy he enjoys killing both Clone and Jedi alike, with a preference for the latter. By all terms, one of the more frightening characters in concept in the Star Wars Universe, he was born a member of the Kaleesh species. After gravely injured in a bomb blast, what was left of his body was reconstructed to make him into a living weapon. Trained in the art of lightsaber combat by Count Duku, it is interesting to note that Grievous is not force sensitive. Working for Duku throughout the Clone Wars, Grievous collected the lightsabers of Jedi that he killed, amassing an extensive collection. Not differentiating between Master and Padawan, his only mission was to ensure Separatist success. Shortly after Count Duku’s death at the hands of Anakin Skywalker, Grievous confronted Obi-Wan Kenobi at the Battle of Utapau and was killed. Almost making it to the end of the Clone War, his death was quickly proceeded by the exacting of Order 66 against Kenobi and the rest of the Jedi Order.
