With the acquisition of Lucas Arts by Disney Studios fans of all ages were disappointed with the news that the animated hit Star Wars Clone Wars was scheduled to end. This disappointment was quickly alleviated with the premiere of Disney’s very own animated series, Star Wars Rebels. The main character of this show is an orphaned 14 year old boy named Ezra Bridger. Quickly establishing his loathing for the empire and the poverty and corruption that it has brought to his home world of Lothal, he quickly meets the crew of the rogue ship The Ghost. Initially alluding to him being force sensitive, his skill in thievery and par core ability quickly establish him as a force to be reckoned with. Taken under his charge by the captain of the Ghost, a run away Jedi Padawan named Kanan Jarrus, Ezra finds a new family in this group of anti-imperial hooligans. Agreeing to take Ezra on as his own padawan, Kanan becomes a father figure to Ezra and together they endeavor to show the empire that not all Jedi are gone in this new Star Wars Universe.
With this shows increasing popularity, cosplaying with an Ezra Bridger costume will be easily recognized in a variety of conventions. Creating your own Ezra Bridger Costume requires a few key items and you want to consider whether you want to have the costume with or without the helmet.
