Cable, real name Nathan Summers, is a popular member of Marvel’s X-Force or X-Men. He was created by created by Louise Simonson and Rob Liefeld, with his true identity first appearing in January 1986, featured in the comic Uncanny X-Men number 201. His character remained limited until his super hero identity was revealed with his origin story explored in March 1990 in the comic New Mutants number 87. He is the son of Scott Summers, or Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor, a clone of Jean Grey. His mutation gives him the power of telepathy and telekinesis, similar to that of his mother. Similar to his father, he was written into the X-Men universe when the addition of a leader character was requested to work with Xavier in a future timeline where the mutants were at war.

Below we have provided a flat all-purpose yellow spray paint that you can use to create comic accurate DIY pieces for the Cable costume. His more modern, militarized version uses many of the same base back compression material layers as the classic version, but with added tactical gear. These can also be found in the sections below. Regarding weapons, please note that when creating scifi weapons as those seen with Cable, it is often necessary to take nerf guns and paint them to the source weapons likeness. For this, we have added options of base nerf weapons and the paint necessary to create his classic black with a blue light plasma handguns and rifle.
