Beast, real name Henry Philip “Hank” McCoy, has been a well-known and popular member of Marvel’s X-Men for decades. Created by the dynamic duo Stan lee and Jack Kirby he appeared with the other original X-Men cast in comic number 1 published in September 1963. His mutant gene gave him “animalistic physical characteristics” such as increased dexterity, greater physical strength, and gripping ability in his feet. After experimenting to suppress the mutant gene, he used his trial serum on himself enhancing his mutant characteristics. This resulted in his image being what we all know it as today.
Creating your own Beast Costume will be a little difficult but completely worth it. Primary costume items include thick blue fur covering the entirety of the body. In addition to this he is either wearing black compression pants with the classic yellow X stripe or the more modern X-Men movie outfit. Whichever option you pursue, you will want to partner the blue fur suit with one of our provided masks, being sure to paint it to match the blue tone of the rest of the suit.
