The slightly more portly member of the Mario World family is the yellow clad Wario. Known for breaking the fourth wall and for his unquenchable thirst for money, he is often the antagonist to the hero, Mario. First appearing as an infant in Yoshi’s Island DS, he progressed to appear as an adult in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Prone to angry fits and childish tantrums, he has been featured in most Mario games since. He also had his own spin off game series for the hand-held nintendo systems. Most recently, he is a comedic addition to the Wii U’s Mario party 10 and Super Smash Brothers. Bringing his raging motorcycle to the screen during his special moves, he will quickly bring a smile to any players face.
With witty commentary like: “So admit it….. Don’t I look cool in the game screens? Those long, muscular legs on my sturdy toned frame…. I’m the perfect specimen of a man ….. What!?!? You say I look fat and my quadruple chin looks like a waterfall of flab? Shut up! That’s just because you have your television set up on widescreen display!”
