Originating as a hidden boss in the iconic Mortal Kombat game series, Reptile increased in popularity to become a playable character in subsequent games. Reptile is another example of the creators of Mortal Kombat using the same ninja design for multiple playable characters. Visually similar to both Sub-Zero and Scorpion, his fighting style and special moves are distinctly his own. Portrayed in the adapted Mortal Kombat movie, this character changed hhis shape to that of a large lizard like creature to lure Liu Kang and Johnny Cage deeper into Outworld where Shang Tsung would be waiting. His origin story is somewhat tragic, being the last of his Raptor race, a bipedal humanoid race of reptilian creatures. He allies himself with Shao Kahn in the hopes that his loyalty will be rewarded with the revival of his species. Developed with the intention of being an easter egg of sorts and a “cooler” version of a pilot character Scorpion, Reptile was born in his easily identifiable green ninja outfit.

When compiling your Reptile Costume, there are a few ways to incorporate the green tones, aside from sewing we have provided paint options below.
