Pietro Maximoff also known as Quicksilver was introduced in 1964’s issue of X-Men #4 and created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. He is the super powered mutant who can move at supersonic speeds while resisting friction, and preventing harm to himself. He is an example of Marvel’s long history of flipping villains and turning them into heroes. It should be noted that the X-gene runs in his family has his farther is the X-Men super villain Magneto and his sister is Scarlet Witch. Fans of quicksilver were in luck when both 20th Century Fox and Marvel Studios (Disney) brought the mutant to the big screen. He’s portrayed by Evan Peters in X-Men: Days of Future Past and by Aaron Taylor-Johnson in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and more prominently The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Creating a Quicksilver costume is pretty straight forward as both interpretations of his costume is mostly made up of normal clothing instead of a traditional spandex costume as seen in the comics.
