Featured in the ensuing science-fiction movie franchise, it is characterized primarily by its hunting of other creatures, both human and non, for sport. While a definitive name is not given in the films, the species has been featured in comics, novels and video games since. In these other forms of media it has been called Yautja and Hish-qu-Ten.
