Peeta Costume – A DIY Guide

Peeta Mellark is the male opposing contestant form district 12 chosen to fight for this life in 74th annual The Hunger Games event inspired by the book series written by Suzanne Collins. Staring as what seems like a supporting character, he quickly becomes much more when he helps Kantniss Everdeen survive the Hunger Game trials of the first feature film installment. As a live-action character he has become a Hollywood heart-throb portrayed by Josh Hutcherson as he establishes a love interest between himself and Katniss played by the beautiful Jennifer Lawrence. With his talents in creating disguises he survives the first round of Hunger Games and lives to become a celebrity in the central Capitol City. In the second installment Catching Fire, he accompanies Katniss as they tour the Districts as victors and representatives of the Capitol. While their romantic tension remains high, they both realize how important the rebellion started by the Mocking-jay symbol is to the people. In the most recent installment he is captured by the Capitol and tortured physically, emotionally, and mentally to hate Katniss and the rebellion. Almost killing her in the final moments of the most recent film, his character left audiences waiting with baited breath for the final installment of the Hunger Games film franchise.

The Hunger Games outfit is pretty straight-forward whether you want to cosplay with his District 12 training outfit or his regular District 12 clothes. Just as iconic is his Catching Fire flame shirt and Cream-colored Capitol portrait outfits.
