Moonstar, also known as Psyche or Mirage, whose real name is Danielle “Dani” Moonstar, is a member of Marvel’s X-Men. her mutation grants her the ability to create illusions that she can telepathically force on her opponents. She could create manifestations of her enemies dreams or fears, depending on the scenario in which she was in. She was created by Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod, first appearing in the graphic novel The New Mutants published in 1982.
Moonstar is a Native American member of the X-Men force. As such, her hair and jewelry look very native american, giving you room to accessorize. When creating her iconic black X-men bodysuit with the large yellow X across the body we have provided two separate DIY options for you. The first is to start with the black bodysuit and use yellow fabric paint to stencil and paint the yellow areas. The second is to use another yellow bodysuit (made of the same material as the black) and to use sewing chalk marker pencils to track the areas where you would need to cut and stitch the yellow X on the black bodysuit, using the black bodysuit as the base layer.
