Liu Kang was one of the few original characters in the first Mortal Kombat. He was the main protagonist in the first four games as well as the movie. He is a member of the White Lotus Society and trains extensively at the Wu Shi Academy and is killed off by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi in Deadly Alliance only to be resurrected as an undead warrior. Creating a Liu Kang costume is incredibly easy as his costume is only made of a few items. The champion of Earthrealm wore mainly black/red pants, red belts, tabi boots, red headband and leather bracers. Optionally you can also add his nunchaku as an accessory. Along with this Liu Kang, the other Mortal Kombat characters would be great for a group cosplay.
