Killer Frost is a DC super-villain that often opposes popular heroes including Firestorm, the Flash and Batman. As a persona the name Killer Frost has encompassed a few different characters throughout the DC Universe. Crystal Frost was the first character to take on the alter-ego of Killer Frost, created in June 1978. She first appeared in the comic series Firestorm number three. The second character to take Crystal’s place after her death was Dr. Louise Lincoln. Then, she was Loren Fontier in the New 52 comic series. Last came Dr. Caitlin Snow, also in the New 52 and in her own stand alone Killer Frost comic. Appearing as part of the “Ice Pack” she was included with a group of ice controlling villains. All versions of the character has had the ability to control the formation of ice by drawing the heat out of external sources. Through this ability, she can create sheets of ice that can cover her body as well as a multitude of other sources. Her signature move includes controlling men with a poison kiss.
Creating your own Killer Frost Costume will be relatively easy. Primary costume items include your choice of bodysuit or leotard, wig and blue gloves/boots. Secondary costume items include a white fur coat and alternate glove/boot options.
