Jango Fett is a fictional character in the Star Wars Universe. Best known for his role in being the original template for the clone army, he was originally a skilled bounty hunter. The antagonist of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, he memorially fights Obi Wan Kenobi while on the planet of Kamino. Aligning himself with the separatist cause, he is killed during the epic Battle of Geonosis by Jedi Master Mace Windu. This is witnessed by his young son and genetically unaltered clone, Boba Fett. After this traumatic experience Boba vows to avenge his father and kill Jedi Mace Windu.
