The Invisible Woman, real name Susan Storm is the love interest and eventual wife of the leader of Marvel’s group the Fantastic Four. After being exposed to, depending on the story arc, an inter-dimensional or inter-planetary radiation she develops the ability to turn invisible and generate invisible energy barriers similar to force fields. Created during the Silver Age of Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, she is one of the founding member of the Fantastic Four and has been an iconic member of the Marvel universe since her first appearance in The Fantastic Four number one, published in 1961.
The Invisible Woman Costume, when visible is fairly easy to create. Her primary costume piece is a blue bodysuit, which varies with hue according to the decade of your reference image. In every adaptation Susan Storm is a blond female, thus our inclusion of a medium length blonde wig. One iconic piece of her costume is either the vintage/retro, movie, or comic version of the Fantastic Four “4” Patch.
