Eren Jaeger is the main protagonist in the Anime show Attack on Titan. Featuring giant man-eating hunan-like Titan creatures that terrorize his world. Seeking to avenge the death of his mother, who was eaten by the Titans, he and his childhood friends join the Survey Corps. This is a military group who were formed to fight the titans beyond the walls of their city of Shiganshina. Popular within the new American Attack on Titan fanbase, he has been the focus of many fan made cosplay items. As the show progresses it is revealed that Eren has the potential to become a titan that mankind can use to defeat their enemies. Introduced as a “hot-headed, vocal ten-year-old” he dreams of exploring the world outside the walls that protect his city, but being prevented by his mother Kalura. The creator of the Anime, Hajime Isayama explained that he wrote this story based off his own childhood growing up in a town surrounded by mountains that he was not able to explore for fear of danger by his own mother. When titans attack Eren’s village and devour his mother, he vows to kill every last titan in existence. Growing he is able to join the Survey Corps beanch of the military and graduated fifth in his class. From then on he is left to discover what he is capable of when in his titan form and to fight alongside his friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert to save the world from the Titan threat.
