Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog is another instant cult-classic show directed by Joss Whedon. Starring Neil Patrick Harris as the one and only Dr. Horrible, this musical blog chronicles his journey to become a super-villain. With every great villain there has to be a valiant hero, or anti-hero in this case. With the secret identity named Captain Hammer, Harris is brilliantly contrasted by Whedon’s favorite actor Nathan Fillion. Dr. Horrible’s arch nemesis in life and in romance, they both share the same love interest in a shy girl named Penny, played by Felicia Day.
Dr. Horrible’s costume is fairly straight forward. The two main components are his long white side-button lab coat and the silver metal color lab goggles that he keeps around his head. Secondary costume parts include his thick white welding gloves, white rubber boots and alternate choice of Black rubber gloves and red lab coat.
