With all of the zombie and post-apocalypse games, movies, and novels that are becoming popular today, we had to add a Star Wars contribution. Nicknamed “Death Troopers” these unfortunate soldiers were former members of the Galactic Empire who, in life, served as Stormtroopers. After contacting a virus known only as “the sickness” they would die a painful death. Believed to have been exposed to the virus sometime between the Battle of Yavin and the Battle of Hoth, these troopers rose from the dead with cannibalistic urges. Keeping to the classic zombie genre, they returned slower than their uninfected comrades but with a much higher tolerance for injury.
The Star Wars stormtrooper is as iconic as the Jedi thought this epic saga. Representing the brute force of both the republic and galactic empire, the iconic white armor plated soldier is as easily recognized as the unique lightsaber weapon. They were most notably commanded by Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader to subdue the rebels throughout the imperial run galaxy. Described as having a “high combat effectiveness” and “harsh reputation” they are often deployed throughout the galaxy to maintain order. Most often seen in squadrons or legions, the classic white Stormtrooper armor is crafted for space and some terrestrial battles. Variations in armor depending on the terrain and mission are present in the Star Wars universe, and can provide you with options on customizing your own Stormtrooper costume.
Not to be confused with the similar-looking Clone trooper, the helmet and chest plate are different in each respective suit of armor.
