CC-1004 or more commonly known as Commander Gree was the second in command to Jedi Master General Luminara Unduli. Due to his intelligence and interest in alien species and cultures he was selected to complete ARC trooper Alpha-17 training. Upon completing the training program he gained the nickname “Gree” reflecting his now expertise in obscure alien species. In combat he was designated as the leader of the 41st Elite Corps, a division out of the 9th Assault Corps. He and his unit were known for their “specialization in hostile conditions, counterinsurgency, and long-term deployment on alien worlds in “hearts and minds” operations.” With deployments in the planets of Uba IV, Dinlo, Rodia, and Alzoc III he saw his fare share of inter-species warfare. His missions included the capture of Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray. As a soldier he participated in the second Battle of Geonosis destroying several Separatist battle droid foundries. At the end of the Clone Wars he accompanied Yoda to Kashyyyk to stop of Separatist attack when he was given Order 66 by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Yoda killed him in self defense after Gree followed Order 66 and turned on the Jedi Master.
