Colossus, full name Piotr Nikolaievitch Rasputin, is one of the more popular heroes and mutants that is part of Marvel’s X-Men. Created by Len Wein and illustrator Dave Cockrum he was introduced to the series in 1975. A russin native, he is known as physically the strongest member of the X-Men, his mutation granting him the ability to cover his skin in a solid metal plate. As a character, Colossus has been ranked number 184 on the Top 200 Comic Book Characters of All Time list, tenth on IGN’s The Top 25 X-Men list in 2006 and number 22 by ComicsAlliance on thier 50 Sexiest Male Characters in Comics list.
The Colossus Costume is fairly straightforward and can be executed as a wonderful couples cosplay when grouped with Shadow Cat. Primary costume items include a silver bodysuit for his metallic skin, and either a red and gold costume or a full black compression costume. Secondary costume items include black gloves, short cropped black hair and an assortment of X-Men tactical gear.
