Cheetah is a well known super-sexy super villain in the world of DC Comics. Created by William Moulton, the same men who initially came up with the Wonder Woman character, they are often considered arch-enemies. As such, she first appeared in the Wonder Woman comic series number six, published in 1943. As a character, she was written to embody all of the negative emotions that Wonder Woman does not possess, namely jealousy. As with many characters that have been around as long as Cheetah, she has undergone many re-imaginings throughout the years and different DC story arcs. Since her first appearance, there have been four different Cheetahs taking on the spotted visage. These include Priscilla Rich from the Golden and Silver Age Cheetah, Deborah Domain from the Bronze Age Cheetah, Barbara Ann Minerva from the Post-Crisis and currently remains as the female Cheetah. The last reinvented the character as a male named Sebastian Ballesteros, who only appeared as this character for a brief period of time. As a character, Cheetah has been ranked number 69 (haha, yes we know) on IGN’s Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time list.
