Angel, or also known as Archangel is a popular X-Men character gifted with magnificent white wings that grant his the ability to fly. Born Warren Kenneth Worthington III, he is the heir to Worthington Industries, a company worth billions. Created by the dynamic duo of Stand Lee and Jack Kirby, Angel has been around since September 1963 with the release of the first X-Men issue number one. During the first few years of his affiliation with the X-Man he takes the role of a spoiled playboy. After being re-imagined, he takes on the new name of Archangel accompanied with the more broody and introspective persona that we know today. As a character, Angel has garnered popularity for over fifty years, frequently featured in many X-Man comic series, the popular animated series and Marvel video games. His live-action adaptation will continue when he is portrayed by Ben Hardy in the upcoming movie X-Men: Apocalypse circe 2016.
